as a writer, some times i let my best talking be done by another. because some times, i'm not a writer. i'm just a human.

My father spoke

the sound

in late November

the sound of the earth

in a flannel shirt

and old leather boots

son, he said,

as badly as you may want

perfectly together

like a puzzle from the box

it's supposed to be that way

you can't the expect the tree

so do yourself a favor
